If you haven’t gotten your hands on the Xbox One Elite Controller yet, you may have to wait awhile. Online retailers are reporting being sold out of the high-end controller. Places like Target, Best Buy, and even GameStop are asking customers to try to find the controllers in store.
More interesting is the online retail giant Amazon has even been having trouble meeting demand. When visiting the controllers store page on amazon, you may notice this message “Due to high customer demand, Elite Controller orders shipped from and sold by Amazon.com placed now are unlikely to be delivered until Spring 2016.”
The Xbox One Elite Controller made its début at E3 2015. With its $149.99 price, it’s a highly customizable controller that focuses on the most hardcore of gamers. The demand for this product may be in part due to the recent launch of Halo 5 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. At the moment you may purchase this controller as part of the Xbox One Elite bundle on sale now for $499.99.
